Tips On Service, Tips On Warranty (7-inch 45rpm, 1970)

Today I have a 45rpm "single" highlighting the rules and maintenance of buying/owning a new car. It is dated 1970, and is a product of Training Systems, Inc.

Frankly, I don't know anything else about this; no indication of who this was made for or why this was made at all. I was, however, able to pull up some information about Training Systems, Inc. According to their website, they offer "customized training and HR consulting to all types of industries through the unlimited backgrounds and experiences of [their] Associates - HR Consultants, Training Designers and Facilitators." My best guess, then, is that this recording was made for an automobile company of some sort to distribute to new customers.

The entire 9-minutes of play-time consists of a man talking. There's no music, just straight facts. It's kind of interesting to hear, in a way, because the person talking sounds much like you would imagine someone sounding in 1970 as opposed to today, if you know what I mean. :)

Anyway, this is up for download, you should know the drill by now. :)

Hope you enjoy this little slice of "industrial" wax. Share your thoughts if you want.
